Life Riddles

The day has finally arrived. Yeah! The past two days passed at a snail's pace... Anyway, while I was contemplating on what to do once i returned HK, I received a email from one of my best friends, whose identity i shall not reveal. But the main thing is that he had a dilemma- His mum was about to lose his job. And to add on to it, his dad isn't with him anymore. It's a catastrophe for him to know that his mum is about to lose her job, and he was really dispirited when he wrote the email to me.
I didn't really know what to say to him, I could not think of any words of consolation. It was, after all, the first time for me to have to condole someone in such a situation. So i just wrote up a email, trying my best not to sound funny.
Life is really a thing which we humans could not manipulate so that it would move the way we wish it to. It frequently devastates you, leaving you distraught and hysterical; it rarely gives you pleasure. But the irony is, we cannot not have it. It's something everyone struggles to preserve, and protect. So while those of us who are enjoying our lives, let's think of others who are in Catch-22, those who are handicapped, those who are less fortunate than us. Let's reminisce the days we enjoyed, and face up to the challenges hurtling towards us.
